2008 Rule Changes
1. Animals must have a minimum of three (3) outs to be nominated for finals.
2. Alternate bullfighter will be paid 1/2 of bullfighters' salary at the finals.
3. All contestants must participate in opening ceremonies at the finals. Fines will be levied for non-participation unless contestant has prior approval from the board of directors.
4. Only contestant competing may be in either roping box while horseback during rodeo.
5. Clarify CBR rule - Where is start line for losing has? "Timer line".
6. Contestants at the ACRA Finals and Finals Banquet will be required to wear rodeo attire.
7. Eliminate the rule of the team roping barier can be no longer than 3' of the steer wrestling barrier. (Note: The two events cannot be compared.)
8. Judge will stand on left side of roping box.
9. Stock Contractor may use breakaway roping calves in the calf scramble if needed.
10. Change rule 26, p.41. Add: Ground shall be worked after "a minimum of 10 positions and a maximum of 15 positions".
