Lifetime ACRA Member Passes Away
Charlie was a member of the ACRA from the associations beginning and became a gold card holder in 1992. He began his rodeo career as a steer wrestler and later became a rodeo judge. Charlie joined the ACRA Board of Directors as alternate judging director in 1999 and still held that position today. He was the father of former Steer Wrestling Director Buddy Harris, also of Quapaw.
Visitation is Friday at 7:00 pm at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Pitcher, OK. Services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Peoria.
